CFS: Activities targeting 200 children in Deir Atiyah
In the framework of the Safe Spaces for Children Project, theNabad(Pulse) team organized two workshops in Deir Atiyah targeting each 100 children. The two workshops that were held over two consecutive days, started with an introduction session during which balloons were distributed and icebreakers performed. Inspired by the holy month of Ramadan, children participated in handcrafting a lantern to which they added words related to the human values they will be abiding by until the next workshop.
The children also decorated boxes they would take with them and in which they would put papers expressing how they deal with their parents and neighbors, before sharing them in the next session. This work aims to motivate them to do good deeds.
The Nabad team intends to release a cartoon character introducing them to facilitate the introducton process through social media and posters which will be issued later and distributed in the streets.
